Back when I got my first Digital EOS camera (the 300D) I joked with a friend that EOS stood for Every Other Shot, because (at least) 50% of shots were out of focus. Eventually I upgraded to better models and found the same problem – until I realised that mostly the problem was me.

Better techniques eventually lead to better photos. Still, the name stuck in my mind and I decided it would be fun to use it for my (primarily EOS) photography blog.

Please don’t take the name, or any other content on this site, as being disparaging towards the EOS family of cameras and lenses. They are still my primary cameras and I have quite a few of them now!
